County’s 2023 preliminary budget available November 21

(SKAGIT COUNTY)- The Skagit County Board of Commissioners are currently in the process of drafting the county’s 2023 budget, according to a news release from the county. The preliminary budget will be made available to the public on Monday, November 21, and will be accessible on the County’s webpage here: www.skagitcounty.net/Departments/BudgetFinance/2023Budget.htm.

If you would like to learn about what is in the budget, please attend the upcoming Preliminary Budget Presentation on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place in Mount Vernon. Following this presentation, the Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider the budget on Monday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. Commissioner-led discussion and possible action on the final budget will occur on Monday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m.
