Scheduled IT maintenance work will limit travel updates north of Everett, Feb. 6

(BELLINGHAM)– Scheduled Information Technology maintenance work will limit information available from the Washington State Department of Transportation between roughly Everett, north to the Canadian border from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.

The physical work will not impact the roadway and will occur at the Bellingham maintenance facility. The outage will impact Snohomish, Skagit, Island and Whatcom counties, according to a news release from WSDOT.

Many WSDOT services will be unavailable during the outage that both the public and media rely on via the WSDOT real-time map and WSDOT app including:

- Cameras that show highway conditions
- Traffic flow information
- Variable Message Signs
- Border wait times
- Media feeds

This outage may impact Interstate 5 weigh stations, including Everett, Stanwood, Bow Hill along with the State Route 9 weigh station in Deming.
