Planning Commission Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 16
(SKAGIT COUNTY)- The Planning Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, October 16, at 6 p.m.
Skagit County is conducting Planning Commission meetings in a hybrid format. The Skagit County Planning Commission is hosting meetings in the Skagit County Commissioners’ Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place in Mount Vernon. You may also participate online via Zoom or live stream on Skagit 21, according to a news release from the county.
At the meeting, the Planning Commission will holding a public hearing to hear public testimony on the proposed Agritourism code amendments. The staff report, public notice, proposed amendments, SEPA documents, and all other materials are available at the following website:

The Planning Commission will also be holding a work session to discuss the 2026-2031 Draft Capital Facilities Plan update. The staff report, public notice, proposed changes and all other documents are available at the following website:

The public is welcome to participate online or in person in the Skagit County Commissioners' Hearing Room. If you wish to provide verbal testimony, please send an email to pdscomments@co.skagit.wa.us, with your name, phone number, and include a request to be added to the speakers list in the body of the email. You can also sign up to testify in person at the hearing. Public hearing testimony is usually limited to three minutes, so written comments are preferred.
Anyone who plans to attend the public hearing and has special needs or disabilities should contact Planning and Development Services at (360) 416-1320 at least 96 hours before the hearing to discuss and arrange any special accommodations.
